If I had 20,000 dollars to donate to any charity i would donate it to St. Jude children's Research Hospital.
St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. With research and patient care under one roof, St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able to do science more quickly. in st. Jude children are given the up most care by the staff and researchers. when i went to the website for st. Jude they had a page for a patient of the month and in the month of april a 3 years old named will was the patient when will was 7 months old he was found to suffer from an optic pathway giloma, a type of brain tumor. will's parents were shocked to find out that their 7 month son had a brain tumor. Will began a protocol of chemotherapy and routine scans to monitor the tumor. He responded well to treatment, but in the fall of 2009, an MRI revealed that the tumor was growing back. "We felt like we'd been kicked in the stomach," his mom said. will is still being treated at st. Jude and Hopefully he will be completely treated from his brain tumor.
